Survey card
Path in CC5: Surveys - + Survey
Surveys - Show
The survey card contains the questionnaire, the email that accompanies the questionnaire, recipients and more. You can also find all responses from recipients here and export them.
Tip!
If you want to create a new survey, read also How to create a survey.

If you selected multiple languages when creating the survey, these languages appear at the top of the survey card as tabs. In this case, you must translate both the questionnaire and the introduction before you can publish the survey. Click on the tabs to switch between the languages.
Tip!
All fields that require translation contain this icon: .

Internal title: Your title for the survey.
Responsible employee: Your internal survey responsible. Mentioned as the sender of the email if you don't explicitly pick another person under Is the responsible employee also the contact person?
Logo: A picture that follows the survey, usually your company logo. The logo is displayed on the top of the questionnaire's title page.
Company: The company the survey is related to. The company name is also added to the email so that the recipients know who's the sender.
Category: A survey can be added to a category for structuring purpose. See Categories.
Response due date: When the survey is sent out, it contains a due date. The due date is shown on the start page of the questionnaire and is the deadline that recipients should adhere to. However, it is a "soft" deadline since recipients can submit their responses after this date as long as the survey is not closed (field Survey end date). The deadline can also be changed after publication until the survey is closed.
Reminder (days before due date): You can define that recipients who haven't answered will receive an automatic email reminder. Enter the number of days before Due date on questionnaire. This field cannot be changed after publishing.
Survey end date: The survey is closed when the date has passed (around Midnight). It is no longer possible to submit responses or edit fields. If all recipients have responded, the survey is set to Finished. If there are missing responses, the status is set to Expired. The date can be changed until it is reached.

Once the first responses have been received, you will find the questions and answers here. New responses are added automatically, so that you get a continuously updated overview.

Here you can add new recipients and check existing recipients sorted by response status.

For new or uncompleted surveys, you can add new recipients. Note that you can only add recipients who are also registered partners, and the partner must be added with an email address. Read more about adding partners here.

-
Delete: You can delete all surveys, including published ones. But note that all responses will be deleted. Recipients who have not responded will no longer be able to do so. Therefore, deletion should preferably only be done for unpublished surveys. For published surveys, we recommend archiving. This way you also retain the responses and you still have access to the survey.
-
Archive: When archiving a survey, it disappears from the default list. But you keep all the answers - and you can retrieve the survey by clicking the "Archived" filter next to the overview list. The survey gets the status Archived. Note that ongoing surveys (status Published) can't be archived.
-
Copy: You can copy surveys in all statuses. When copying, you will be asked if you also want to copy the logo, recipients and more. Just tick the related checkboxes. Copied surveys get the status Draft and the title "Copy of [...]". Remember to check all texts before sending out the survey. This goes especially for the title as this one is used as header of the questionnaire.
-
Edit: Most of the fields can't be changed after publishing. But you can e.g. add recipients and change the expiry date.
-
Reopen: Only appears for surveys that have been manually ended via End now next to Response deadline. The survey will be reactivated and recipients can answer it again.
-
Export responses: Exports all answers to Microsoft Excel.
