Use the signature card to create and send requests for electronic signatures. Here you can - later in the process - also add more recipients, remove recipients or send reminders.
Read also How to create and send requests.
Note!
There are some limitation for file size. Read more here.
The title of the request. This information is not send to the recipient.
Tip!
You can change the title of digital signature requests that are not expired or completed.
New request
-
Add new files: Drag & drop or click the box to upload files to Complete Control.
-
Add files that already are stored in Complete Control: Click Select file(s) ....
Tip!
If you want files to be signed in a certain order, you can move them after upload with drag & drop.
Note!
Don't use "/" in the file name. This will create problems when downloading the signed file.
There are also other limitations for files and formats: Some limitations are so strong that you can't send the request. These files are highlighted with a red file name.
Sent request
Once the request has been sent, you can view the file(s) by clicking Show original document.
Signed request
The fully signed document can later be opened via Show signed document. You can also download the document to your PC.
Save: We strongly recommend saving the document e.g. on the contract card or somewhere else in Complete Control.
The message you enter here is displayed in the email as additional information below the standard text containing information about the signing deadline, the sending company and the sending person (you as the creator). If you have Signicat as provider, this message is also displayed when opening the PDF.
The deadline to sign the document(s). The default deadline is defined under System settings for Digital Signing and can be changed for new requests.
Tip for users with provider Egreement!
The deadline is about to expire and not all recipients have signed? Click Extend deadline and pick a new date. You can extend the deadline even if it is past: up to 4 weeks after Deadline to sign (this is the date used as basis for the calculation).
Add yourself as recipient: Adds you as a recipient of the PDF.
Add recipients from distribution lists: It is possible to create distribution lists with several default recipients. By this, you do not need to add all recipients one by one.
Add recipients: Adds a new recipient to the signature request. You must enter the email and name (note that the name is used when addressing the recipient) and select the language for the recipient. Per default, electronic ID (available for Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland) is used as authentication method. But you can also select Handwritten authentication in case a recipient doesn't have an electronic ID, if preferred in combination with SMS Verification by ticking the respective check boxes.
Egreement only: SMS-verification is available in combination with Bank-ID and Handwritten signature, and the code must be entered before opening the documents.
Signicat only: SMS-verification is only available in combination with Handwritten signature, and the code is required before signing.
Remove recipient: Allows to remove selected recipients.
After the request has been sent, you can monitor the process for each recipient:
-
Pending: The recipient must still sign. -
Deleted: The recipient has been deleted from the request and can no longer sign. -
Completed: The recipient has signed the request. -
Red triangle: The last email to this recipient has been returned. -
Rejected: The recipient has rejected to sign (only Egreement). This means that the whole signing process has been canceled.
Displays a log of the email messages that were sent. Bounced signalizes that the email came back in return.
Tip!
You can edit a request later (e.g. if it contained a spelling mistake in the recipient email and was returned), or if you want to add further recipients. Read more here.
Delete: Pending requests: Can't be deleted, but cancelled. Recipients will then no longer be able to sign.
Completed requests: Can only be deleted by the creator of a signature request or a system administrator. Other users can't delete (not even the system administrator).
Cancelled and expired requests: Can be deleted by anyone with read rights. Files in this request are deleted, too.
Only Egreement: It's not possible to delete declined requests.
Copy: Copies the request including file.
Archive: Can be used for signed requests to remove them from the default view, which is Only active requests. Archived requests can be found by opening the filter and selecting either Only archived or All (active and archived).
