What if recipients didn't receive an email
It may happen that new users, recipients of surveys or recipients of notifications do not receive the email. There may be several reasons for this.

-
New users: You can find the date and time of the last mailing on the user's person card under Welcome email.
To resend the email, tick Welcome email and click Save. -
Notifications in advance of important events: Open the entry (e.g. contract). Scroll down to Events and click View notification log. If the email has been sent, the letter icon is shown in green. The date and time can be found when you move the mouse pointer over the email.
-
Surveys: Open the survey and check that its status is Published. Scroll down to Recipients and find the recipient in question under Sent and not started. Click
- Email log next to the recipient to see the date and time.
Send a reminder via- Remind.

-
Incorrect email address: The most common cause is that the sender has entered the wrong email address for the recipient.
-
Spam filter: The recipient's email provider may have an aggressive spam filter that has marked the email as spam and therefore not shown it in the inbox.
-
Full inbox: The recipient's inbox may be full, causing new emails to be rejected or not delivered.
-
Sender blocking: The recipient may have blocked the sender's email address or domain, either deliberately or by mistake.
-
Technical problems at the email provider: There may be technical problems at the email provider.
-
Network problems: There may be general network issues affecting email delivery.
-
Mail server problems: Problems with email servers can also result in the email not being delivered.
-
Security settings: Your email client or email provider may have strict security settings that block emails from unknown or suspicious senders. Our sender address is noreply@app.houseofcontrol.com. This is sometimes required to be whitelisted.

If the problem persists, you may want to contact your email provider for further assistance.
You can also contact our Support team to check if the email has the status “Delivered”. When this is the case, there is nothing more House of Control AS can do to resolve the issue.
