How to create sales / purchase units
Path in CC5: System settings - Contracts - Payment categories - New category / Edit
You can create simple payment categories to sort your payment schedules. And if activated, you can also use payment categories to create specific unit factors (e.g. box, piece, pallet).
Example:
You sale items in boxes with 30 items each. One box is sold for 25 Euro. In this case, you can create a Unit "Box" and enter the price 25 under Default unit amount. When creating the payment schedule, you can now pick this payment category: Price per unit and the unit are inherited from the payment unit and thus calculated automatically. So you only need to enter the number of units. The total price will then be calculated automatically.
Title: The name of the payment category.
Group: The group the category belongs to.
Use unit factors: If registration of units is activated in your Complete Control you can create own units and assign a price. By this, you can define standard prices per sales or purchase unit, e.g. pallet, box or piece.
