Path in CC5: System settings - Currency
You can give access to multiple currencies in the system. The feature is integrated throughout the product, so you always have the option to select a currency when defining a price. The source of the rates is Fixer.io, and the exchange rates are updated every night.
Activating other currencies in the system
To activate a currency from the register, click Edit and then check off Set as available. Select the Statistics tab to see the historical exchange rates.
Adding new currencies
Other sources can be added as required, either by currency codes or manually. Select New currency, give the currency a title, such as "Euro", add the correct currency code, such as "EUR", select the number of decimal and thousand separator to use (comma/period) and add a symbol, such as "€". Manual, date-managed exchange rates can also be added by selecting Add fixed rate.
Note!
Manual fixed rates override the automatic rate from Fixer.no. Also, fixed rates will not be adjusted automatically.
Currency history
The Statistics tab shows exchange rate developments over a certain period of time.
