Organization list
Path in CC5: Organization
The company's department structure is built up in levels under the company: On top the Company, then maybe Regions (if you need and with black text) and then the Departments and sub-departments (with link to more information). Basically, the department overview should reflect the company's organizational chart.
Tip!
The list displays all departments and the amount of people, assets and contracts linked to the single departments. Click the numbers to view more details.
+ Add: Click to create a new department or a new company (if you have the Corporate Group Structure module).
Search: Free text search in the list.
Import: You can import departments and other date via an Excel file. See also Import and export.
Export: Exports the selected records to Excel. See also Import and export.
Edit: Opens the department card in editing mode so that you can enter new data.
New: Click to create a new Department, Region or Company below this element.
Merge: It is not possible to delete departments that are linked to persons, assets or contracts. In such instances, the Merge function must be used. This function helps maintain the history of what has been registered in the database. See also How to change the organization structure.
