Inbox
Path in CC5: Files - Inbox
The inbox in Complete Control gives you access to emails sent to your company's mail account. The side menu and the bell notify people who are added as mail recipients under General system settings about new incoming emails.
The inbox is only for receiving mails. Replying and forwarding is not supported.
Note!
Complete Control must be the main recipient. If you put it into CC, the email will not be delivered.

You can filter emails by certain criteria: Status (read, unread and archived), recipient, assigned person, dates and categories.
Tip!
Find a certain email or an attachment by typing free text into the Search field.
Status: You can filter by Read, Unread and Archived status. Archived emails are hidden by default; you must select them in this field to view them. You can assign statuses either via the email list (bulk assigning is possible) or in the email body.
Sent by: You can filter by the email sender by entering the sender's name (or parts of it).
Assigned to: Displays emails that are assigned to certain people. You can assign people either via the email list (bulk assigning is possible) or in the email body.
From - To: Displays emails that have been received during a certain time period.
Category: Displays emails of a certain category. You can assign categories in the email body.

Lists the emails you've received in your inbox.
You can select and edit a single mail, or you can multi-select and edit all selected mails via the button at the bottom of the list.
Read more about the various editing possibilities under E-mail.
Tip!
Find any email or attachment by typing free text into the Search field.

Via the menu in the email header, you have access to these functions:
-
Assign: Assigns the mail to a specific responsible for further actions. You can also assign a responsible by clicking
in the email header next to "None".
-
Set to: You can assign a status to the email. This affects also the filter settings to the left as finished emails are usually removed from the view
-
Delete: Deletes the email and its attachments.
In the same header, you can also assign a Category by clicking (below the email date).
At the bottom of the email, you can quickly check/set the mail status: Read, Unread or even Archived. Note that archived emails are only displayed if you choose so in the filter.

If an email has an attachment, you can see this already in the list of emails (left pane).
To e.g. create a contract in Complete Control directly from the attachment, click the attachment in the email (right pane):
-
Create a contract: Only PDF's. Creates a contract and adds the attachment to the contract. Read more here.
Tip! If there is already a related contract, this contract card is displayed when clicking the attachment in the email. This prevents you from creating doublets. -
Move file: Moves the file to a place in the File explorer.
-
Download: Saves the file to your machine.
-
Delete file: Deletes the file from Complete Control.

It is a prerequisite that the email account has been configured under System settings - General. You can also decide who should be notified of incoming mail, and you can define which emails are allowed. If your company has multiple companies or email categories, all this can also be set up for each company/category.
Read more under General system settings.

If a user group is to have access to an inbox, you must give access to it via System settings - Access control (click Edit next to the group name):
